Yay, for spring break! Matt and I went to Arizona for the week to enjoy the mountains, sunshine, and a nice change of pace!

Grand Canyon! Neither of us had been. Which is weird, considering how many times I have visited Arizona!
Lunch at the "Steakhouse" after Grand Canyon. Eating local in the middle of the mountains was interesting, but surprisingly tasty!

We loved getting away, and also loved coming home to our kitty! We also got to catch up with our buds, Deb & Jake, when we returned. They were visiting Chicago for the weekend. Luckily, we had the chance to get breakfast with them before they left town. Always a good time! Then, we returned home to find 5 police cars at our our apartment complex. (NOT looking for Matt or I...phew! ;) Matt and I stayed in our car watching, while 5 police officers busted open a garage, and shot their taser guns at a dude hiding in his garage! Eeek!
you having never been to the grand canyon IS weird considering how many times you have been to AZ and the fact that you were BORN there! ha. Love those pics...I'm so jealous of your Starbucks, views and that sweet pad. Run away from that dangerous Naperville to the safest most wonderful city around. G Raps awaits you soon!
