Springtime up north was always a hoax. Everyone gets their hopes up once March hits and then a big snow storm reminds everybody that warm weather is actually NOT just right around the corner. In Florida, spring is REAL! The temperature starts to get considerably warmer and everything turns green again! So, in honor of springtime, I made a big 'ol batch of iced coffee!
I'm a bit of an iced coffee snob. I like it with lots of ice and extra bold, just like they make it at Starbucks. Sometimes I will settle for just chilling strong left over coffee in the fridge, but this stuff tastes way better. All my thanks to Pioneer Woman! I found her iced coffee recipe a little over a year ago and have not looked back yet :)
I went on my third running attempt this weekend. It was so nice out and since Matt was home I was able to get out on Saturday morning while Quinn was napping. I only lasted about 20 minutes (ok..more like 15 minutes). My endurance is terrible. But, I didn't wet my pants this time! I used to think moms were exaggerating when they talked about not being able to hold it after having kids. Well, it's no joke. ;)We went to the mall on Saturday and this time I used the Ergo (thanks for the advice, sister!) Quinn did fabulous and we got a lot of shopping done, which Matt desperately needed. We also bought Quinn her first swimsuit. I have been eyeing one in particular from BabyGap for about a month, and when I showed Matt he said, "I don't even care how much it is. It's so cute. We are getting it!" My jaw totally dropped. My husband...didn't care about the price of something!!! What?!! He is such a sucker for cute baby clothes and I couldn't be happier!
Hope you are enjoying spring (or the lack thereof) wherever you are!

Ah! I love that suit too! Quinn is going to be adorable in it! We are going to hit the 80s this week-and it is definitely nice to live somewhere that actually gets to have a "real" Spring! Hope you guys enjoy every second of it : )
